LENOIR — On Monday, July 10, the Caldwell County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the newly created Economic Development Strategic Plan.
“The new Caldwell County Economic Development Strategic Plan is designed as a living document that is flexible and able to meet the ever-changing needs of the community,” said Ashley Bolick, director of Caldwell County Economic Development. “The Economic Development Advisory Committee plans to annually evaluate the plan and suggest updates when needed.”
Designed to give guidance to Caldwell Economic Development, the Strategic Plan consists of four action areas: Existing Industry Support, Site Development & Recruitment, Public Awareness & Marketing, and Other Opportunities for Collaboration, Education & Support.
