North Carolina is ranked the No. 4 Top Biotech Hub, with 790 life sciences companies and 2,500 related service providers calling it home. Likewise, the life sciences and biopharmaceutical cluster is steadily growing in Caldwell County, adding several hundred jobs annually. Caldwell Community College & Technology Institute (CCC&TI) established the new Pharmaceutical Tech program, the second program of its kind in North Carolina. Additionally, our new industrial park is located adjacent to our biopharmaceutical cluster.
