HUDSON — Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute is now registering for several upcoming continuing education and workforce training courses. Following is a schedule:
Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute will offer an Emergency Medical Technician course from Aug. 7 to Dec. 6 on the Watauga Campus in Boone. This 284-hour course is designed to train individuals to provide basic emergency medical care in the pre-hospital setting. Coursework provides students with basic essential knowledge and skills required to work as an EMT Basic. The cost is $203, and the textbook is $282. Scholarships are available.
