Improvements to the Evergreene Industrial Park will move forward with the recent grant award announcement that Caldwell County will receive $513,425 in Appalachian Regional Commission funding.
The matching grant includes $513,425 in funding from Caldwell County that provides the project with $1,026,850 in total funding, said Paige Counts, Caldwell County public information officer.
“Since 2021, the county has been working with the town of Sawmills to develop the Evergreene Park,” said Caldwell County Board of Commissioners Chairman Randy Church. “And this grant is a significant contribution to the development of that park in southern Caldwell County.” To read the full story, click here.
