The Hickory City Council will consider requests to annex and rezone 49 acres of property on River Road for a 178-unit single-family housing development at its meeting on Tuesday.
The property, which is owned by the Hickory real estate company Boureanu and Creech Properties LLC, is at 3940 River Road between Hidden Creek Circle and Grady Lane, according to documents in the council’s agenda packet.
