CALDWELL COUNTY — Ripple Fiber, a fiber optic internet provider based in the Southeast, has begun construction in Caldwell County. With many residents in the area lacking current access to the future-proof technology, Ripple Fiber plans to bring lightning-fast fiber internet to over 13,000 homes by late 2025. Neighborhoods currently included are Granite Falls, Sawmills, Cajah’s Mountain, Gamewell, Hudson, and Rutherford College, according to a press release from the county.
