The survey is open and will be available through March 27, 2026.

Caldwell County Economic Development is conducting this survey to reflect the current realities of a broad range of industries and service providers across Caldwell County. Survey results will be used to craft a report that will provide a comprehensive summary of current wage, compensation, and benefit trends across Caldwell County.
“While we recognize the survey may not fully capture the diversity of businesses in our community, the information will provide access to reliable, local compensation data to support area employers in attracting and retaining qualified, engaged employees,” said Jesse Trivette, Caldwell County Economic Development Business Retention & Expansion Coordinator.

What does the survey include?

The design process is intended to create an inclusive survey that reflects the needs and realities of Caldwell County employers. The survey covers a wide range of compensation and benefit policies, including:

  • Salary Ranges
  • Incentive Bonuses
  • Benefits
  • Working Hours
  • Entry-Level Base Salaries

Who should complete the survey?

  • The individual(s) responsible for managing compensation levels or talent recruitment within an organization should complete the survey.
  • The survey should take about an hour to complete.
  • All participants must answer the first 48 questions, then the six-question industry-specific section (Manufacturing, Warehouse/Distribution/Logistics, and Sales and Customer Service) that best matches your organization.
  • Progress will be automatically saved after each page, allowing users to complete the survey across multiple sessions if necessary.

When will the results be released?

A summary report is planned for release by mid-May 2026 and will be made available exclusively to organizations that complete the entire survey.

  • Individual organizational data will not be included in the report.
  • Responses will not be shared with other organizations.
  • All wage and benefit information will remain strictly confidential.
  • Only aggregated sector averages will be publicly reported.

Your participation ensures that Caldwell County employers have access to meaningful, accurate local data to guide workforce decisions.
